My journey to digital photography began in the 70’s when I bought my OM10 (Olympus) and lenses. Moved from there to underwater photography, Nikonos, Nikon F1, in housings, from Macro, thousands of slides, from bulbs to strobes and exciting time. The 90’s rolled around digital cameras arrived, with 41/2” disks, I couldn’t get into it. I have stood back and waited, yes I dabbled with borrowed school gear really basic stuff, I just couldn’t get into it so I moved away from photography and took to fishing, yeah I know life gets in the way I supposed I was a little lost and at 67 years decided to take the plunge and lashed out on a D7500 Nikon with a cropped sensor. Packaged with a Tamron 18-270 multifunction zoom lens, I purchased a Nikkor 35mm F1.8 which is awesome Im still not sure of the Tamron only time and shots will tell.
